IT Desk: Matter Threads came last month to take on Twitter. Threads had a record of over 100 million users in just a few hours. That number is increasing with time. Threads has been rolling out feature after feature to compete with Twitter.
Until now threads could be used in Android. Now you can use threads in the web version ie on your desktop or laptop. Twitter currently has a web version called 'X'. So it has become very important to launch a web version in the case of threads as well.
However, Meta has not yet announced the exact date of when the Web of Threads can be used. It is expected that the web version of the Threads app will be launched very soon. Many tech experts predict that this will increase the adoption of the Threads app by various brands, advertising agencies and social influencers. More and more users will use the Threads app.
Twitter's Direct Message or DM feature is also being added to Threads. Threads is a text based conversation app. Posts up to 500 characters can be written here. Links, pictures, videos can also be posted. 5-minute videos can be posted on the Threads app. Everything can be done with Instagram account credentials.
