News Desk: Although the HSC and equivalent exams have started ten days late in three boards, the results will be announced together, said Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni. He said, due to natural calamity, the examination has started late in three boards. But we will try to release the result together within 60 days. He said these things to the reporters after visiting Tejgaon College Center in the capital on the first day of HSC examination on Thursday (August 17) morning. The minister said that even though the dengue epidemic is increasing in the country, there are special arrangements in the examination center for dengue affected candidates.
All exam centers have special arrangements including treatment for dengue affected candidates. He said that it would have been better if the timings had been coordinated with regard to the difficulties in the arrival of the examinees due to heavy traffic on the roads centered around the HSC examination. But if there is a two-hour exam, it becomes a problem to change the exam time. I have seen the time change in SSC exam Then this problem was seen. Regarding mismanagement in various centers and lack of seat plan in front of the center, he said, we usually see the crowd crowding at the gate of the center.
It is seen that the students who come to the examination center after a little while find it very difficult to enter the center. I would request parents to drop your child at the center and move away. Just sit there and pray. Next year HSC exam time will be brought forward to April, he said, next year we will try to bring HSC exam time to April. And I will try to bring the SSC exam in February. This year also the same attempt was made, but it was not possible due to various reasons.
Claiming that there is no risk of question leakage this time, the minister said that every year the question leakers come up with novel methods. We have new experiences. But we never forget what happens every time. We do whatever arrangements are necessary for them. Hope nothing new happens this time. There will be no new-old problems this time - all preventive measures have been taken for this. Still, we have to keep our eyes and ears open. All centers should be alert. So that no untoward incident happens.
No exam question papers have been leaked in the last five years, yet a rumor has always been circulating in a circle. Now that rumor has subsided. Deputy Minister of Education Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury Naufel, Education Secretary Soleman Khan, Director General of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Directorate Prof. Nehal Ahmad, President of Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and Dhaka Education Board Chairman Tapan Kumar Sarkar were present at the time.
