Thakurgaon Correspondent: Haripur police arrested a drug dealer named Abir Hossain (28) with 350 pieces of tapendal in Haripur of Thakurgaon. On Friday (August 4) around 11:30 pm, on the basis of secret information, SI Rakibul Islam Rakib led a raid at Muslim Hajir Chatal in Battali Bazar of Upazila along with Sangiya Phos and arrested Abir Hossain red-handed along with 350 pieces of tapendadal.

Arrested Abir Hossain is the son of deceased Hossain Ali of Bhavanandpur village of Haripur Sadar Union of Upazila. Haripur police station officer-in-charge Tajul Islam said that a case has been registered against the accused under the Narcotics Control Act and handed over to the learned court.
