Iran unveiled hypersonic missile Fattah

International Desk: Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has unveiled a hypersonic missile for the first time. IRGC's Aerospace Force developed the missile. It is named Fattah or Victorious.

According to Al Jazeera, the range of this Iran-made hypersonic missile is 1,400 kilometers or 870 miles. Tehran claims it is capable of penetrating all types of missile defense systems. President Ibrahim Raisi attended the unveiling ceremony of Fattah hypersonic missile on Tuesday.

Mentioning that Iran's defense and missile industries are being developed on the basis of domestic technology, he said on this day that Iran's deterrence will play a major role in establishing stability, security and peace in the countries of the region.

Raisi also said that Iran's defense and missile industries are equipped with its own technology, and since Iran does not import weapons, the development of these factories is unlikely to be threatened. Incidentally, only Russia, China, America and North Korea have unveiled hypersonic missile technology so far.

However, America could not successfully launch hypersonic missiles here. General Hajizadeh, commander of the Aerospace Force of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, said at the unveiling ceremony of the Fattah hypersonic missile, Iran became one of the four countries possessing this technology with the launch of the missile.

He also said that the world has countermeasures or weapons to destroy all weapons including tanks, warships and warplanes. Missiles are now developed to destroy missiles as well. But there is no weapon to destroy this Iran-made hypersonic missile so far.

The commander of the Revolutionary Guards said, Iran's acquisition of hypersonic missile technology and its effectiveness is undoubtedly a decisive and revolutionary advance in modern warfare. Henceforth the enemies of Islamic Iran, especially the Zionist regime, will be forced to rethink their calculations of attacking Iran.

According to Iranian media, the missile can travel 14 times faster than sound. This speed is one of the main capabilities of the Fattah hypersonic missile. Fattah missiles use solid fuel. It can maneuver in and out of the atmosphere.

This new variant of Fatah missiles will change the military and weapons equation in favor of Iran in the West Asian region. Military analysts believe that enemies will now think twice before taking any action against Iran.
