Joint operation to prevent terrorist activities in Rohingya camps: Home Minister

News Desk: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan said that a joint operation will be conducted to prevent terrorist activities in Rohingya camps. He also said that the army will be added to this operation if necessary.

He gave this information to reporters after the meeting of the National Committee on Coordination, Management and Law and Order of Myanmar citizens (Rohingya) displaced by force at the Secretariat on Tuesday (May 23). The Home Minister said that blood is being shed in the Rohingya camps. Their activities are increasing.

That is why it was decided in the meeting that patrols, check posts and intelligence surveillance of law and order forces will be increased so that the Rohingya terrorists cannot carry out any kind of mischief inside the camp. He said, the operation will be conducted on the basis of specific information.

We will take measures so that no one from Arsa and Arakan Army can enter the Rohingya camp. That's why there can be a joint operation with the army if necessary. The minister said that there will be a massive operation to recover drugs and weapons from the Rohingya camps.

To prevent any Rohingya from coming out of the camp, barbed wire fences, watch towers and regular patrols are in place. They will be strengthened. So that they cannot come out. Law enforcement forces with joint patrols will remain active at all times.
