4 thieves arrested with stolen goods in Nilphamari

Nilphamari Correspondent: Sadar Thana Police arrested four inter-district notorious thieves along with stolen goods with the help of technology in Nilphamari. They were sent to the district jail by the court on Sunday (May 21) afternoon. All of them have given their confessional statement in court. The arrested are Shariful Islam Sharif alias Picchi, Rezaul Haque Badal alias Rezbul, Roman Islam alias Rumon and Md Alif of Niamatpur Adani Mor area of ​​Syedpur Upazila. On Saturday night, police raided and arrested all of them from their respective homes.

Nilphamari Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Mustafa Manjur PPM confirmed the matter in a press briefing at Sadar police station on Sunday (21 May) afternoon. According to the police, on May 13, they broke the lock of Habibur Rahman's three-story house in Thanapara area of ​​the city and stole various goods from the house. When Habibur Rahman filed a case at the police station as a plaintiff, they stole the goods. In this incident, Habibur Rahman became the plaintiff and filed a case at the police station.

Nilphamari District Superintendent of Police Mohammad Mostafizur Rahman PPM under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Mostafa Manzoor and under the leadership of Sadar Thana Officer-in-Charge Md Muktarul Alam, they were arrested with the help of technology. At that time, a laptop, LED TV, two motor pumps, a mobile phone and gold ornaments worth about Tk 150,000 were recovered from them. Acting OC of Nilphamari Sadar Police Station Muktarul Alam said that 17 cases against accused Shariful Islam Sharif and 4 cases against Rezaul Haque Badal are pending in the learned court.
