The United States is providing powerful fighter jets F-16 to Ukraine

International desk: There is a possibility that the advanced fighter jet F-16 of the United States may be sent to Ukraine to confront Russia. And in that case, the power of Ukraine against the Russian Air Force is expected to increase many times. Meanwhile, Prime Ministers of the UK and the Netherlands, Rishi Sunak and Mark Rotti respectively, have agreed to form an 'international coalition' to provide fighter jet support for Ukraine. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has long called for such a coalition.

He was desperately seeking air support from the West in his country's war against Russian forces. A spokesman for Sunak's Downing Street office said Sunak and Rotti will work to form an international coalition to build Ukraine's air capabilities. They will provide assistance in everything including training and procurement of F-16 fighter jets.

He made these comments after the Council of Europe summit in Iceland. Most NATO members in Europe are in favor of sending F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine. However, US President Joe Biden did not agree to it even last January. Defense experts believe that if Ukraine gets hold of US-made F-16 fighter jets, it will have an edge against the Russian air force.
