Germany is providing large amounts of military aid to Ukraine

International desk:  Germany announced on Saturday to give a large amount of military aid to Ukraine. Germany is giving Ukraine nearly three billion dollars in military aid to bolster its fight against Russia.

This is the largest military aid Berlin has provided since the beginning of Russia's special military operation in Ukraine. The German Ministry of Defense announced this information in a statement on Saturday. Other armaments included in this military assistance include 30 state-of-the-art Leopard tanks, Renaissance drones and ammunition.
 
German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said, "We have realized how important weapons are at this moment in Ukraine, and Berlin has taken the initiative to help Kiev quickly."
