The dominance of Bangladeshi products in the Asian market is increasing

News Desk: Bangladeshi products are increasingly dominating the Asian market. In the current fiscal year, Bangladesh exported a record 526 million dollars worth of products to the countries of the region. Most products are exported to India, Japan, South Korea, China and Malaysia. Despite the post-Corona shock and the global recession, the country's export sector has made significant progress in the current financial year. According to the data of Export Development Bureau EPB, export earnings increased by 8 percent from July last year to March this year. Most of the products exported from Bangladesh have been exported to various Asian countries.

Exporters have sent goods worth 526 million dollars to the countries till the third quarter of the current financial year, breaking the old record. Which is 16 percent more than last year. Currently India is the biggest destination for Bangladeshi products. In the current financial year, the export amount in the country is 169 million 50 million dollars. After India, more products went to Japan, South Korea, China and Malaysia.

According to EPB data, in the last 5 years, exports have increased the most by 78 percent to South Korea. 70 percent increased in India. Besides, 45 percent in Malaysia and 35 percent in Japan. However, export income from China has decreased by 26 percent in 5 years.
