Iranian delegation arrived in Saudi Arabia

News desk:  An Iranian delegation arrived in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, on Wednesday to discuss ways to implement the agreement recently reached between Iran and Saudi Arabia.

The delegation will discuss the opening of Iran's diplomatic mission in Saudi Arabia. Khabar Al-Arabia.

Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanyani gave this information. He said that a technical telecommunication from Iran reached Riyadh on Wednesday afternoon. The delegation was welcomed at the airport by Saudi officials.

Nasser Kanyani said that two Iranian working groups in Saudi Arabia's capital Riyadh and port city Jeddah will take necessary steps to open embassies and consulate offices. Iran will also appoint a permanent representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation or OIC.

The spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry also said that Iran wants to complete all the procedures for opening its embassy and consulate offices in Saudi Arabia before the final phase of Hajj begins.

Meanwhile, the technical delegation of Saudi Arabia which arrived in Iran last Saturday will go to the holy city of Mashhad from Tehran on Thursday.

The foreign ministers of Iran and Saudi Arabia met last week. After that, the delegations of the two countries are visiting Tehran and Riyadh. Earlier, an agreement between Iran and Saudi Arabia was signed in the Chinese capital Beijing last month on re-establishing relations.
