UGC's Tribute to the Memorial on 53rd Independence Day

News Desk: On the occasion of the 53rd Great Independence Day and National Day, the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh has paid deep respect to the martyrs at Savar National Memorial.

On Sunday (March 26), members of the commission, officers and employees, leaders of the UGC officers' association and employees' union paid tribute to the martyrs by laying flowers at the altar of the national memorial.

UGC member Prof. Dr. Dil Afroza Begum, Professor Dr. Muhammad Alamgir, Professor Dr. Biswajit Chand, Professor Dr. Md. Abu Taher, UGC Secretary Dr. Ferdous Zaman, director of the private university department. Omar Farooq, Director of Public University Management Department and President of Officers Association Mohammad Jaminur Rahman, Director of Strategic Planning, Quality Assurance Department (Acting) Dr. Durga Rani Sarkar, Deputy Director of Public University Management Department and General Secretary of UGC Officers Association. Golam Dastgir, president of the employee union. Nurul Islam Bepari and general secretary. Leaders of Officers Association and Employees Union along with Saiful Islam and officers and employees of UGC.
