Javed Iqbal Chowdhury, Cox's Bazar: BGB-BGP captain level flag meeting was held at Myanmar border. A flag meeting was held between Cox's Bazar Battalion (34 BGB) and Myanmar No. (2) Border Guard Police (BGP) at 10 am on Monday, March 20, near Border Pillar 31/1-S inside Myanmar. The 19-member delegation of Bangladesh was led by the captain of Cox's Bazar Battalion (34 BGB) Lt. Col. Mohammad Saiful Islam Chowdhury in the said flag meeting. On the other hand, Myanmar's delegation of 20 members was led by the leader of the number (2) BGP.

During the flag meeting, there was a very productive discussion on various issues related to the border and both the captains agreed to resolve any future incident in the border area through discussion, including maintaining a cordial atmosphere between the two countries, confirmed Cox's Bazar Battalion (34 BGB) Commander Lt.
