Millions of fish suddenly die in Australian city rivers

International Desk: Millions of fish suddenly died in the river of Menindi in the New South Wales region of Australia. Dead fish started floating in the river on Friday morning local time. The river authorities say that this situation has developed in the Darling-Baka river due to the ongoing wildfires. Locals say that the death of so many fishes has never happened before in this city. However, three years ago, once a lot of fish died in this city.  

Climate change has made heat waves more frequent, more intense and longer lasting. The Earth has already warmed about 1.1 degrees Celsius since the beginning of the industrial age. It is feared that the temperature will continue to rise until governments take effective measures to control the temperature. Temperatures are also expected to touch 41 degrees Celsius in Menindi on Saturday.
