A.L. flowers tribute to Bangabandhu's portrait on his birthday

News Desk: On the occasion of the 103rd birth anniversary of the architect of independent Bangladesh, the father of the nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Awami League paid tribute to Bangabandhu's portrait with flowers. Tributes were paid under the leadership of party president and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. On Friday (March 17) at 7:12 in the morning, the Prime Minister paid tribute in front of Dhanmondi 32 Bangabandhu Memorial Museum. Before this, he first paid tribute to Bangabandhu's portrait as the Prime Minister. At this time, Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader, Advisory Board member Amir Hossain Amu, Presiding Board member Shahjahan Khan, Jahangir Kabir Nanak, AHM Khairuzzaman Liton, Joint General Secretary Dr. Hasan Mahmud, Mahbub ul Alam Hanif, AFM Bahauddin Nashim and others were present.

After the Prime Minister's tribute, various political, social and cultural organizations, including affiliated and fraternal organizations of Awami League, are paying tribute to the portrait of Bangabandhu. Earlier, on the occasion of Bangabandhu's birthday, the ruling Awami League hoisted the national and party flags at Bangabandhu Bhavan in the capital and party offices nationwide. Awami League legal affairs secretary Advocate Najibullah Hiru suddenly fell ill while paying tribute to the portrait of his father Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League office secretary Riaz Uddin Riaz confirmed the matter and said that he is currently receiving treatment at Square Hospital.
