The Prime Minister inaugurated the 'Bangladesh Business Summit-2023'

News Desk: The country's biggest business conference 'Bangladesh Business Summit 2023' has started with the aim of highlighting the economic potential of Bangladesh in front of the world. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the three-day summit at Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) at 10 am on Saturday (March 11). Besides, the prime minister also inaugurated the 'Best of Bangladesh Expo', one of the attractions of the summit.

The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), the country's top organization of businessmen, has organized this summit to mark the 50th anniversary of its establishment. Ministers of seven countries including United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, China, Bhutan, United Arab Emirates, chief executive officers of 12 multinational companies and more than 200 foreign investor representatives and business leaders from 17 countries participated in the summit. Minister of Foreign Affairs also attended the opening ceremony. AK Abdul Momen, Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi, Prime Minister's Adviser on Private Industries and Investments Salman F Rahman along with senior government officials and business leaders.
