Theft and destruction of documents at the municipal mayor's office in Kushtia, protest demanding the arrest of the culprits

Rabiul Alam Ivan, Kushtia:  In Kushtia municipality, the municipal officials and employees organized a protest program demanding the arrest of the culprits in protest against the theft and destruction of important documents. This human chain was held at Kushtia Mazampur Gate at 10:30 on Wednesday. Speakers said yesterday that despite the 24-hour ultimatum being given to the culprits involved in the human chain, the administration has yet to arrest anyone. If there is no arrest, we will announce a strict program to stop all civil service activities of the municipality.

It is to be noted that last Saturday night miscreants entered the Mayor's office by cutting the grill and breaking the lock of Kushtia municipality and stole the CCTV camera DVR machine of the municipality, important documents and cash. Meanwhile they destroyed some documents and left them behind.
