Bangladesh-England ODI series starts today

The first match of the ODI series will start today at 12 noon at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. Gazi TV and T-Sports will broadcast live. 

The depth of England can be understood by looking at the current state of their team. England lost the second Test by one run against hosts New Zealand in Wellington yesterday. On the other hand, the ODI series against Bangladesh is starting today in Mirpur. Two teams in two countries at the same time.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh is getting an injury-free team after a long time. The hosts will face England with a full strength team. Although Shakib and Tamim were discussed outside, coach Chandika Hathurusinghe said that nothing else is needed if the field performance is healthy. Both are ready to take that exam. Chandika is looking forward to see how Bangladesh will fare against England. 

In the pre-series press conference, Bangladesh coach said on Tuesday, 'They are world champions. One team of them is playing test and another team is here. The depth of their cricketers is incredible. Playing against them is really a good opportunity for us to understand our position. Doing well in such conditions will increase confidence.'

After 2014, Bangladesh lost only one series at home, that was against England. In 2016, Bangladesh lost the series 2-1. Earlier, Bangladesh had dismissed England in the 2015 ODI World Cup. In the last series, Bangladesh won a tough test against India under Liton Das without regular captain Tamim Iqbal. Fit Tamim returns to the team. There are Shakib, Mahmudullah and Mushfiqur Rahim. Hero Mehdi Hasan Miraj, Liton Das, Taskin Ahmed are there.
