Congratulation of meritorious students at Bindubasini Government Boys High School, Tangail

Md. Rashed Khan Menon, Tangail: A meeting of Kriti students was held on Friday at Bindubasini Government Boys High School grounds, a traditional educational institution in Tangail. Under the initiative of Sikho Prothom Alo, around 1500 meritorious students of the district gathered in the felicitation ceremony of the students who obtained GPA-5 in the 2022 SSC examination. Sikho and Prothom Alo hosted the reception. Students from different parts of the district started arriving at the venue from 8 am. They receive crests, certificates and gifts from designated stalls. At 10:30 in the morning, the main ceremony of the reception began with the performance of the national anthem by the members of Udichi Shilpi Goshti.

In the speech held later, Subrata Nandi, Principal of Govt. Sa'adat College, said, "Those of you who have got GPA 5 have increased your responsibilities. You have to build yourself up. You are global citizens. You have to compete with the whole world. May the success you get in SSC exam be maintained throughout your life. Don't get lost. Bindubasini Government Boys High School Headmaster Mohammad Abdul Karim said, you have done well. You have to prepare for tomorrow. You should learn to be a human being like a human being. Poet and columnist Sohrab Hasan, joint-editor of Prothom Alo said, "You have just crossed the first step. Your district Tangail has a lot of pride and glory.

Maulana Bhasani, Shamsul Haque, Danbir Ranada Prasad Saha, Yadu Samrat PC Sarkar, poet Tarapad Roy are children of Tangail district. The glory they have, you will also maintain it. Say no to drugs, corruption and terrorism. It depends on you whether Bangladesh will go in a good way or in a bad way. Citizens for Good Governance (Sujan) Tangail district branch vice-president Badal Mahmood, Bharteshwari Homes senior teacher Hena Sultana, Prothom Alo Bandhu Sabha Tangail advisor Ginia Bakhsh spoke on the occasion, among others. Ahad Mia, Sinha Meherzabin, Jisamul Haque and Hasan among the meritorious students and Roksana Parveen and MA Tarek among the parents spoke. Prothom Alo Tangail's own correspondent Kamnsheesh Shekhar delivered the welcome speech.

After that, child artist Andrita Achal performed dance in the cultural program. Art student Atiya Taslim covered the poem. Liju Baula and Sufi Shamim of Touch Band performed the music.
