Rashed Khan Menon, Tangail : 14 parties united on the basis of non-communal democratic politics. So as long as that unity is relevant, so will alliances. "If the big party Awami League thinks they are enough, then we have to take a decision. We are still united in the discussions that have taken place and will go to the polls unitedly. Member of Parliament Comrade Rashed Khan Menon said these things at a function organized on the occasion of Workers Party's Golden Jubilee yesterday evening at Bangabandhu Auditorium of Tangail Press Club. He also said that the Awami League led by 14 parties introduced the government in the name of the party after the 2018 elections.

Regarding the coming of Bangbir Quader Siddiqui's party Krishak Sramik Janata League, he said, those who want to come in agreement with non-communal, democratic and liberation war style politics will be welcomed. Speaking as the chief guest at the event, President of Bangladesh Workers Party Rashed Khan Menon MP also said that the BNP-Jamaat coalition brought down the regime after 2014 by joining forces.

Speakers in the event also said that a rehabilitation center for disabled people should be established in Tangail district where all facilities including education, treatment, accommodation, training, employment of disabled people will be included. Visually impaired Moklechur Rahman said that to ensure the employment of disabled people, it is necessary to simplify the recruitment test for visually impaired people.
