Raveena received the Padma Shri award

Entertainment desk:  The list of Padma honorees was announced on the eve of Republic Day of India. And Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon is in that list. The actress was born in Mumbai in 1974. Apart from Bollywood, he has also acted in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Bengali films. He started his acting career with the film 'Patthor Ke Phool' (1991). He also won the Filmfare Award for his performance in this film.  

He acted in several commercially successful films in the 1990s. These include 'Dilwale' (1994), 'Mohra' (1994), 'Khiladiyo Ka Khiladi' (1996) and 'Jiddi' (1997). 

Apart from commercial films, he has also worked in other films. In 2001, she won the National Film Award for Best Actress for playing the role of a torturer's wife in Kalpana Lajmi's 'Daman'. Critics and audiences were amazed and praised her performance in the film.

Since then he has worked in other types of films besides commercial films. Also working in web series.
