International Desk : Powerful Russia will burn Western tanks as soon as they reach Ukraine. The Kremlin issued another stern warning on Wednesday after Kiev allies announced they were sending tanks. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, 'This is also a technically failed plan. These expensive tanks will be burnt like everything else in no time.'

The Kremlin says that supplying tanks to Ukraine will not change the reality. Rather, the West must regret the delusion that 'Kiev will defeat Russia'.

Russia's ambassador to the United States, Anatoly Antonov, said in a telegram on Wednesday that Washington's delivery of Abrams tanks to Kiev was another "horrendous provocation" against Moscow. It is clear that Washington purposely wants to see our strategic defeat.

He said such a move would not work if the US decided to supply tanks on the grounds of 'defensive weapons'. It would be a terrible provocation against the Russian Federation.'

After a week of Berlin-Washington negotiations, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz finally agreed to deliver the Leopard-2 on Wednesday. The United States will also provide Abrams tanks subject to conditions.

Apart from this, Germany, the maker of Leopard, has also allowed countries like Poland and Finland to send tanks.
US officials told the media that the US could deliver about 30 M1 Abrams to Ukraine next month. According to information from the Spiegel media outlet, Germany will provide a brigade of at least 14 Leopard-Tours in stock for its army 'Bundeswehr'. The German government has not yet announced the exact number of tanks to be sent.

NATO member Norway is considering whether to send German-made Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine. The information was confirmed by Oslo-based newspapers Aftenposten and Dagens Næringsliv on Tuesday. Of the 36 Leopard-2s in the country, 4 to 8 could be delivered to Ukraine.
