Rashid Khan in the club of 500 wickets in T20 cricket

Sports Desk: Pitched full length outside off stump, Bjorn Fortein pulls it towards the stumps. That's why Rashid Khan wrote his name in an elite club. The age is only 24, but this Afghan leg spinner became the owner of 500 wickets in T20 cricket. Rashid needed three wickets to enter the club. The captain of MI Cape Town took exactly three wickets with 16 runs in 4 overs against Pretoria Capitals in the ongoing SA20 tournament in South Africa. Kushal Mendis was hunted in his first over. Then Riley Russo fell into his trap.  

However, Rashid is not the first in the club of 500 wickets in T20. Caribbean all-rounder Dwayne Bravo reached this milestone in 2020. He is on top of the list of highest wicket takers in T20 with 614 wickets. Rashid is right after him. Sunil Narine is third with 474 wickets. South African leg-spinner Imran Tahir's wicket number is 466. Shakib Al Hasan of Bangladesh is fifth with 436 wickets.
