Half an hour after the start of trading on this day, i.e. at 10:30 am, the general index of DSE, DSEX, increased by 13 points from the previous day and stood at 6,278 points. DSE's Shariah index and DSE-30 index increased by 1 point to 1369 and 2210 points respectively. Shares and mutual fund units worth Tk 136 crores 24 lakhs have been traded during this period.
Among the companies traded at this time on Sunday, the prices of 101 companies increased, 61 companies decreased and 105 companies' shares remained unchanged. The top 10 companies traded till 10:30 am today are Genex, Bashundhara Paper, Metro Spinning, Islami Commerce Insurance, Shinepukur Ceramic, Amara Network, Gemini Sea Food, Meghna Life, Pragati Life and Pioneer Insurance.
Earlier, the DSEX index increased by 15 points in the first 5 minutes of trading on Sunday. At 10:10 AM, the index fell by 1 point from its previous position. After that the speed of the index is seen upward. At 10:20 am, 20 minutes after the start of trading, the index increased by 11 points from the previous day to stand at 6,277 points.
On the other hand, the CASPI index of Chittagong Stock Exchange increased by 11 points and stood at 18 thousand 487 points at 10:30 am after half an hour of trading. After that the speed of the index is seen upward.
Till 10:30 AM on this day, 58 lakh shares and mutual fund units were traded in CSE. During this period, the share price of 22 companies increased, 7 decreased and 13 companies remained unchanged.
