News Desk: Planning Department Secretary Satyajit Karmakar said that the foreign contribution to various development projects in six months is 1.36 billion dollars.

He gave this information after the meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) on Tuesday (January 17).

On this day, in Eknek meeting, approval was given for the second revision of the multi-lane tunnel construction project under the Karnaphuli river. Along with this project, 11 projects were approved on this day. 11. The cost of the project has been estimated at 10 thousand 683 crores.

Regarding foreign financing, the secretary said that the project of foreign financing has been approved. If these are implemented, the image of the country will change. In the last six months, projects worth 10,754 crores of physical infrastructure, 5,554 crores of agriculture and 1,170 crores of socio-economic infrastructure have been undertaken. Foreign funded projects are taken with a lot of thought.
