News Desk: On the second working day of the week Monday (January 9), the country's main stock market Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and another stock market Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) are trading with fluctuating indices. This information is known from DSE and CSE sources.
Half an hour after the start of trading on Monday, i.e. at 10:30 am, the general index of DSE, DSEX, fell by 1 point compared to the previous day at 6,191 points. DSE Shariah index rose by 1 point and DSE-30 index decreased by 1 point to 1352 and 2191 points respectively. Shares and mutual fund units worth Tk 76 crore 13 lakh have been traded during this period.
Shares of 37 companies traded today (Monday) increased, 94 decreased and 58 remained unchanged.
The top 10 companies traded till 10:30 am today are Bashundhara Paper, Genex, Amara Network, Navana Pharma, Orion Infusion, Anwar Galvanizing, Eastern Housing, BSC, Orion Pharma and Premier Bank.
Earlier, the DSEX index rose by 4 points in the first 5 minutes of trading today. At 10:10 AM, the index fell by 2 points from its previous position. After that the speed of the index is seen downwards. At 10:20 am, 20 minutes after the start of trading, the index increased by 1 point from the previous day and stood at 6,191 points.
On the other hand, the CASPI index of Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) increased by 12 points and stood at 18 thousand 318 points at 10:30 am after half an hour of trading. After that the speed of the index is seen upward.
Till 10:30 am today, 1 crore 67 lakh shares and mutual fund units were traded in CSE. During this period, the price of 14 companies increased, 17 decreased and 9 companies' share prices remained unchanged.
