News Desk : Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi has urged the consumers not to buy the whole month's products at once during the upcoming Ramadan to control the prices.
He made this call in response to a question from journalists after the fifth meeting of the task force related to the review of commodity prices and market conditions at the secretariat on Wednesday (January 4) afternoon.
Commerce Minister said, seven issues were discussed today. Sugar stock situation is good. However, the price is a bit high. There will be no problem with prices during Ramadan. Sometimes we magnify small problems. Our consumer rights are active.
He said that there is no need for the rush to buy products during the first seven days of fasting. Everyone thinks they will buy a month's worth of products, it is not necessary.
