News desk: The incidence of heart attack increases in winter. However, there is no definite evidence in this regard. However, many experts believe that sudden temperature changes affect the heart. Many studies have shown that, apart from heart attack in winter, many suffer from stroke along with other heart problems.

Lack of blood to the heart can lead to a sudden heart attack. Heart attack patients can recover with prompt treatment. Therefore, know how to help yourself and others immediately in case of a heart attack.

Know the symptoms of a heart attack

An interventional cardiologist and director of the Cleveland Clinic's STEMI program. Grant Reid says, 'How quickly you recover from a heart attack depends on how quickly you recognize the symptoms.'

Apart from the usual chest pain, discomfort or pressure symptoms, a heart attack can manifest differently in men and women or diabetics. These include indigestion or nausea, extreme fatigue, shortness of breath and feeling sick.

Call an ambulance

Doctors recommend that if you experience any of the above symptoms, even if you are not sure it is a heart attack, you should call an ambulance immediately.

Dr. Many patients ignore their symptoms, says Grant Reed. As a result, their heart muscle died on the way to the hospital.

The sooner you get to the hospital, the sooner doctors can open the blocked coronary artery. It will reduce your risk of death and you can recover quickly. The shorter the time, the better the result.

Take aspirin

Cardiologist at the Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Joel Beachy said, 'Take a 325 mg dose of aspirin after calling an ambulance immediately after the heart attack.

Blocks blood flow in the arteries during a heart attack. Taking aspirin can help break up some of the blood clots in the arteries. Doctors recommend chewing aspirin instead of swallowing it, so that it is absorbed into the body faster.

Do not go to the hospital alone

If you think you're having a heart attack, don't try to go to the hospital yourself. Instead call an ambulance immediately.

You may lose consciousness, so don't take this risk. If you have a family member by your side, ask them to arrange for you to be taken to the hospital as soon as possible.

Give CPR if the patient is unconscious

If the person with cardiac arrest is not breathing or you cannot find a pulse, start CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) to keep the blood flowing. Before that definitely call an ambulance.

Hands-only CPR requires you to give rapid, vigorous compressions in the middle of the person's chest until paramedics arrive. About 100-200 compressions should be given every minute.
