News Desk: Users now have to spend money to verify accounts on Twitter. Elon Musk now owns Twitter, one of the world's leading social media platforms. However, since the world's richest man Elon Musk took over Twitter, bad news has been coming one after the other. First layoffs followed by subscription news.

Elon Musk has ended the use of free Blue Tick verified accounts. But now Twitter is seeing blue, gold and gray ticks. Previously verified accounts only had blue ticks, but now some of them have already turned gold.

The new owner of Twitter, Elon Musk, had already announced the introduction of blue, gold and gray ticks on Twitter. However, several new features have been added to it. More than four lakh accounts have blue ticks, belonging to celebrities, politicians, journalists, government institutions and other institutions.

Find out who is getting which color tick - blue color will be for common people. Among the new two colors, gray will be given to accounts of government institutions and gold to other institutions.

This color-coded verification was introduced primarily to identify individuals, government accounts and companies separately. As a result of this verification, old banned accounts will also be able to return to Twitter. But if it is associated with any spam then it will not be possible.

Banned accounts include those of Katie Hopkins and Donald Trump adviser Steve Bannon. After Elon Musk launched Verified Blue Tick for $8, social media was flooded with screenshots of fake verified accounts. Now all accounts will be verified separately by the Twitter-authorities instead of being automatically verified.
