This time the price of soybean oil has decreased

News Desk: The price of bottled soybean oil has been reduced by Tk 5 per litre. The new price will be effective from next Sunday (December 18).

This information was informed in a circular issued by the Ministry of Commerce on Thursday (December 15).

It is said that the maximum retail price of Refined Soybean Oil and Palm Super (Khola) has been unanimously determined in the light of the discussion held on December 13 in order to review the import, stock and price of essential products. Out of this, the price of one liter of bottled soybean oil is Rs. 187 from now.

Earlier, a liter of bottled soybean oil was priced at Tk 192. Accordingly, the price per liter has decreased by 5 rupees. Besides, the price of five liter bottled soybean oil has been reduced from Tk 925 to Tk 906. In this case, the price has decreased by 21 taka.

On the other hand, the price of open oil has been reduced from Tk 172 to Tk 167 per liter and the price of palm oil has been reduced from Tk 121 to Tk 117.
