International Desk: Russia has started missile attacks across Ukraine again. At least 4 people have been killed, Kiev said.

According to a BBC report, Russia launched the attack on Monday local time. It is reported that there is a significant disruption in the electricity grid in the eastern part of Ukraine. Apart from this, Odessa, the southern part of the country, was also cut off.

Kiev claimed to have shot down 60 of the 70 missiles fired by Russia. Ukraine believes that this missile attack will not be able to cause extensive damage as before.

On Monday night, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in a video message that the power supply in neighboring Moldova was also damaged due to the Russian attack. This attack proves once again that Russia's ability to carry out such massive terrorist attacks is a threat not only to Ukraine, but to our entire region.

For several days, Kiev believed that Russia was planning a new missile attack. Moscow has previously targeted power and energy infrastructure amid the cold spell across the country. Millions of people in Ukraine lost electricity.

The Kremlin accused Ukraine of carrying out drone strikes on two Russian airfields before the new missile strikes.

The Russian Defense Ministry said three soldiers were killed and two planes were slightly damaged in the attack. However, Ukraine has yet to comment on the drone strike.
