4 more people died of dengue, 426 patients admitted to hospital

News desk: Even though the epidemic of coronavirus has come under control, the number of dengue patients has been increasing continuously in the country for quite some time. In the last 24 hours, 426 people were admitted to the hospital due to dengue fever. Currently, the number of dengue patients admitted to hospitals across the country is 1,803.

Four people have died due to dengue fever in the last 24 hours. With this, the death due to dengue has increased to 254 people this year.

On Wednesday (November 30), the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room in charge Dr. Md. This information was given in the regular report on dengue signed by Zahidul Islam.

According to the report, 239 of the 436 people admitted to the hospital with dengue fever from Tuesday morning to Wednesday morning are 239 residents. Besides, 187 people were admitted to hospitals outside Dhaka. At present, the total number of dengue patients admitted in various public and private hospitals of the country is 1 thousand 803 people.

According to the information of the Department of Health, a total of 57 thousand 358 people were admitted to the hospital due to dengue from January 1 to November 30 this year. Among them, 55 thousand 301 people have recovered and been discharged from the hospital.

During the corona epidemic in 2020, dengue infection was not seen much, but in 2021, 28 thousand 429 people were infected with dengue fever across the country. In the same year, 105 people died of dengue nationwide.
