New DC in 23 districts of the country

News Desk: The government has appointed new Deputy Commissioners (DCs) in 23 districts of the country. A notification in this regard was issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Wednesday midnight.

Recently, this reshuffle was brought to the post of Deputy Commissioner after the promotion of Deputy Secretary rank officials of 23 districts to the post of Joint Secretary.

According to the notification, DC of Chittagong Mohammad Mominur Rahman has been transferred to Dhaka, DC of Kishoreganj Mohammad Shamim Alam to Comilla, DC of Joypurhat. Shariful Islam to Patuakhali, Barisal DC Jasim Uddin Haider to Tangail, Sunamganj DC Md. Jahangir Hossain has been transferred as Barisal and Nilphamari DC Khandaker Yasir Arefin as Khulna DC.

On the other hand, Private Secretary (PS) of State Minister for Religion Didare Alam Mohammad Maksud Chowdhury to Sunamganj, Deputy Secretary of Cabinet Division Kazi Mahbubul Alam to Gopalganj, Deputy Secretary of Ministry of Public Administration Abul Basar Mohammad Fakhruzzaman to Chittagong, Deputy Secretary of Finance Department Mohammad Saidul Arif to Kurigram, Rajshahi Divisional Commissioner. The office of the deputy director of local government. Chitralekha Nazneen has been made the DC of Rangpur.

Mostafizar Rahman has been appointed as Mymensingh, Private Secretary (PS) to the Minister of Information and Communication Technology Md. Saiful Islam as Bogra DC.

Besides, Deputy Secretary of Ministry of Public Administration Mohammad Abul Kalam Azad to Kishoreganj, Deputy Secretary of Local Government Department Pankaj Ghosh to Nilphamari, Secretary of National Housing Authority Mohammad Ullah to Lalmonirhat, Director of Prime Minister's Office Cox's Bazar, Director of Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Department Saleheen Tanveer Ghazi to Joypurhat and Secondary and Higher Education Department Deputy Secretary Mohammad Abu Nasser Baig has been made DC of Magura.
