Body of unidentified person recovered in Dinajpur

Salauddin Ahmed, Dinajpur:  The Kotyali police station recovered the body of an unidentified person (55) from the paddy fields on the side of the road in Sheikhpura, the district headquarters of Dinajpur on Tuesday morning. 

 Kotwali Police Station Inspector Golam Mawla Shah said that after receiving information from a village police officer of Sheikhpura Union Parishad, they recovered the unidentified body in the paddy field next to the road of Sheikhpura Union Parishad building. The body has been sent to M Abdur Rahim Medical College morgue in Dinajpur for postmortem. They are also trying to find out his identity.

Chairman of the local union council, Mominul Islam, said that the local residents saw the vagabond roaming around the area on Monday. Perhaps the person is suffering from mental illness. Sometime during the night he died of an accident. In the morning, they found the bite mark of dog and fox on the leg and nose of the dead body.
