Women arrested with Cholai drugs in Tentulia

Al Masud, Panchagarh : Police arrested a woman named Mana Rani Bash Ford (50) with liquor in Tentulia upazila. Mana Rani is the wife of Ram Babu of Sahebjot village of Tentulia upazila.

On Sunday (November 20) after the legal process, he was sent to the District Magistrate through the court. Earlier on Saturday (November 19) night, Tentulia Model Police Station arrested him from Chowrasta Bazar area of ​​Tentulia Sadar Union.

According to the statement, the Thana police conducted an operation in Tentulia Chowrasta Bazar area on the basis of secret information during the sale of drugs. At that time, the woman named Mana Rani tried to escape after sensing the presence of the police in the Chaurasta Bazar area. Later he was caught red-handed while selling drugs. 

At that time, when her body was searched by the female police, a total of 11 liters of 500 ml locally made brewed liquor in 23 blue plastic bottles of 500 ml was seized from her plastic market bag and taken to the police station.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Tentulia Model Police Station Abu Saeed Chowdhury confirmed the arrest and said that after the legal process in the afternoon, he was sent to jail through the court.
