British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced to stand by Poland

International Desk: A missile explosion occurred in a village near the Poland-Ukraine border on Wednesday morning. After the sudden explosion, tension was created in the NATO country.

Amid such tension, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak spoke on the phone with Polish President Andrzej Duda. The British Prime Minister said in solidarity with the Polish President on the phone, "UK stands by Poland." Reuters news.

In this regard, Rishi Sunak said in a tweet, 'I reiterated the UK's solidarity with Poland and expressed my condolences to those who were killed in the missile blast. We will continue to communicate and cooperate with NATO allies.'

Meanwhile, the UK Prime Minister's Office issued a statement about Rishi Sunak's discussion with the President of Poland. According to the statement, Polish President Duda told SUNAK the latest information about Poland's investigation into the missile explosion. On the other hand, Prime Minister Sunak offered any necessary assistance to find the cause of the incident.

US President Joe Biden said after the incident of the missile explosion, initially it seems that the attack was not from Russia. However, he said, they will support what Poland finds out from the investigation and the next steps will be decided accordingly.
