Dengue death in last 24 hours 7, hospitalization 875

News desk: The number of dengue fever cases is increasing in the country. Death is also increasing. In the last 24 hours, 875 dengue patients were admitted to the hospital. Earlier, on November 2, a maximum of 1,94 dengue patients were detected in the country in a single day. With this, the number of dengue patients admitted to hospitals across the country stood at 3,270. During this time, seven people died due to dengue. Monday (November 7) in charge of Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Department of Health Dr. Md. This information has been informed in the dengue report signed by Zahidul Islam.

According to the report, in the last 24 hours (from 8 am on Sunday to 8 am on Monday) among 875 people admitted to the hospital due to dengue, 497 are residents of Dhaka and 378 are outside Dhaka. With 875 new people, the total number of dengue patients currently admitted in various public and private hospitals of the country stands at 3 thousand 270 people. According to the information of the Department of Health, a total of 43 thousand 982 people were admitted to the hospital due to dengue from January 1 to November 7 this year. Out of this, 40 thousand 535 people have been discharged from the hospital after recovery. Seven people have died due to dengue in the last 24 hours. A total of 177 people have died of dengue since January 1.

The first death due to dengue was reported on June 21 this year. During the corona epidemic in 2020, dengue infection was not seen much, but in 2021, 28 thousand 429 people were infected with dengue fever across the country. In the same year, 105 people died of dengue nationwide.
