Conducted research seminars at Bashemurbiprabi

Mejba Rahman , Bashemurbiprabi representative:  Research is very important in the educational life of the university. Therefore, a seminar titled "Research Methods and Research Paper Writing Techniques" has been organized by "Research and Higher Studies Society" at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology, Gopalganj to make students proficient in research. Around hundred students from various departments of the university participated.

Today, Saturday (October 29), the seminar was organized in room 902 of the academic building of the university. It was attended by the president of environmental science and disaster management department of the university. Rajib Hossain, Assistant Professor of Statistics. Matiur Rahman, Assistant Professor of Pharmacy. Hundreds of students from various departments of the university including Tariqul Islam. 

During this, they discussed among the students about research concept, process and research paper writing and publication. In the first part of the seminar "Basics of research methodology" was discussed by the assistant professor of the statistics department of the university. Md. Matiur Rahman. During this, Tiri discussed how the students should do research, what are the first steps of research and what should be followed in research. And in the second part of the seminar "How to write a research paper" was discussed by Md. Tariqul Islam, assistant professor of pharmacy department of the university. During this he discussed the students about the research paper and how to write the contents of the paper. 

When asked about the seminar, Tamalika Mandal, a third-year student of the University's Department of Environmental Science and Disaster Management, said, "Research is very important in university life. The importance of research in academic studies in education is immense. She said that if university students cannot do research, then they will be more talented than others. How. So today's seminar was very important to increase your knowledge." 

About the seminar Tuhin Ahmed Sajib, a fourth year student of the history department of the university, thanked the "Bashemurbiprobi Research Society" and said that no such seminar has ever been organized in our university before. This is the first time we have been able to participate in such a seminar. For which many thanks to the members of "Bashemurbiprobi Research Society".

When asked about the activities of Bashemurbiprobi Research and Higher Studies Society and its future ideas Rifat Islam, general secretary of the society, said that Bashemurbiprobi is the only organization that will help students to increase their knowledge in university life. He said as the reason, we all study academically but not all do research and can't do it. Those who do research can increase the scope of their knowledge Because in doing research a student comes across various questions and only they can figure out the answers to those questions. In this way a student will excel in information retrieval along with increasing his memory.

It is to be noted that this organization works to improve skills in various subjects through various seminars, workshops, online courses related to research and higher education in the university.
