A team of police under the leadership of Rafiqul Islam (Rafi) managed to arrest the absconding accused Nazrul Islam from Maheshkhalia Para area. He also said that the arrested accused has been sent to the learned court for further proceedings. It is known that after 11 years, the verdict on the murder case of Ali Ullah Alo, the discussed child of Teknaf, Cox's Bazar, has been announced. The court sentenced six people to death and fined 20,000 taka and acquitted two people. Judge Mohammad Ismail of Cox's Bazar District and Sessions Judge Court announced the verdict of the case at 5:30 PM on Wednesday, May 11. Those sentenced to death in the verdict are, Md. Suman Mia, Yashin Prakash Raihan, Md. Yakub, Md. Ishaq Prakash Kalu, Nazrul Islam, Syedul Amin Prakash Lambaiya. Also got acquitted. Didar Mia and Muhibullah. Four defendants were present in the courtroom during the pronouncement of the verdict. It is to be noted that on September 7, 2011, Ali Ullah Alo, son of Cox's Bazar District BNP Finance Secretary and former general secretary of Teknaf Upazila BNP Md. Abdullah, was brutally slaughtered by miscreants.
