Md Hasan, Kurigram: Financial donations have been provided to the flood-affected leprosy and gout patients in Kurigram district. With the financial support of Lepra Bangladesh, this donation was given in the civil surgeon hall room organized by the civil surgeon office on Tuesday afternoon. Acting Deputy Director (Health) of Rangpur Division Dr. Habibur Rahman inaugurated the program by paying 73 thousand 600 taka to 23 leprosy and infantile patients of Kurigram Sadar Upazila. Among others present, Civil Surgeon Dr. Manzoor-e-Mursheed, Superintendent of General Hospital Dr. Md. Shahidullah, Monitoring and Learning Officer Mizanur Rahman, Lepra Bangladesh Program Organizer Abdul Hannan, Lepra Bangladesh Monitoring Officer Badrul Alam etc. With the overall cooperation of District Civil Surgeon Office and Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Office, 130 flood-affected patients of 8 upazilas of the district are being paid 3 thousand 200 taka 4 lakh 16 thousand taka per person.
