Currently, this plan costs USD 6.99 (around Rs. 570) in the US. Netflix will launch the plan in the United States from November 3. However, the plan will start from November 1 in Canada and Mexico.
In a recent statement, Netflix said that the basic plan with ads will be launched on the OTT platform. Recharge this low cost plan to watch ads in videos. However, there is no difference in terms of personalized user experience, number of connected devices, content and cancellation methods between the basic plan and the basin plan with ads.
Only subscribers of these two plans can stream HD videos. Netflix subscribers in 12 countries can recharge this plan from November. The basic plan with ads requires watching 4-5 minutes of ads per hour of video stream time.
The US streaming company is not making any changes to the current plan even though the new plan has been launched. You can check the details about all the plans by logging into the Netflix website.
