Salah Uddin Ahmed, Dinajpur: Import-export of goods between India and Bangladesh has started from today Saturday at Hili Land Port of Hakimpur, Dinajpur, 8 days after the holiday of autumn Durga Puja.
Harunur Rashid, President of Hili Land Port's Import-Export Group, said that the port's import-export activities were closed for 8 days during Durga Puja festival. After the holidays, import-export has started at Hili land port from Saturday morning.
Meanwhile, Badiuzzaman, the police officer in charge of the Hili Immigration Checkpost, said that the Hili Immigration Department was operational when the import and export of goods was banned during the holiday. Parspot passengers were normal. But the number of pilgrims in India was relatively higher.
