Bus lost control in Gopalganj and killed 4

News Desk: Four people including a policeman were killed when a bus lost control and collided with a tree in Gopalganj. At this time, 15 more people were injured. The accident happened at Chandradighalia of Gopalganj Sadar Upazila on Dhaka-Khulna highway around 8 am on Friday. Gopalganj Sadar Police Station OC Sheikh Nasiruddin confirmed the incident. One of the dead has been identified, but the identity of the other three has not been found. The deceased Abdul Alim (25) is a policeman of Barisal range. OC Md. Nasir Uddin said that a passenger bus of Didar Paribahan leaving Chittagong was going to Bagerhat. When the bus reached Chandradighalia of Gopalganj Sadar Upazila on the Dhaka-Khulna highway, the driver lost control and hit a tree on the side of the highway. The tree broke and the front part of the bus was twisted. 4 people including policeman Abdul Alim were killed and 15 injured on the spot. After receiving information, police and fire service personnel went to the spot and rescued the injured and admitted them to Gopalganj 250-bed general hospital.
