Sports Desk: The ODI World Cup will be held in India at the end of 2023. In order to play in this World Cup, the teams have to overcome the ODI Super League barrier. South Africa has to overcome many hurdles to overcome that obstacle. The Proteas will play the last five matches remaining in the Super League at the beginning of 2023. This time they will host England and Netherlands and England. South Africa will host the new franchise league at their home ground early in the new year. Due to this, the series which was part of the ODI Super League in Australia was cancelled. After that, the Proteas are worried about getting a chance in the World Cup. In addition to the three canceled matches against Australia, South Africa will play five more ODIs in the Super League. Three of them were against England and the remaining two were against another European country, the Netherlands. Netherlands visited South Africa in February 2022. The Dutch have returned home without finishing the series due to the outbreak of the Corona virus. So the remaining two matches of the series will be held in March 2023. Before this, South Africa will host England at the end of January. The English will play three ODIs in this tour. South Africa will play the full series at home against the West Indies in between hosting England and the Netherlands. South Africa will play three Tests, ODIs and T20Is against the Caribbean. The Test series on this tour is part of the World Test Championship.
