News Desk: Autumn Durga Puja, the main religious festival of the Hindu community, has ended with Vijaya Dashami and idol worship across the country including the capital. The idol of Goddess Durga was dedicated on Wednesday (October 5) afternoon. According to Sanatana religionists, the main significance of Vijaya Dashami is to give up the demonic instincts of human mind, lust, anger, violence and lust. From last October 1 through Chandipath, Bodhan and Adhivas, Shadiya Durgotsava begins with the arrival of 'Anandamayi' on the sixth tithi. For the next 5 days, devotees pay respects to Goddess Durga through puja-archanas in pujamandaps across the country including the capital. It culminates with the desecration of the idol on the Dasami Tithi. Now Goddess Durga came to Mortyaloka (Earth) riding on the elephant (elephant) to wish the world well. It will reduce natural calamity storms and increase crop and crop production. On the other hand, he left for heaven on a boat. As a result, the welfare of the world will be achieved. On Wednesday morning at 8:50 am, Goddess Durga was bid farewell through darpan-bisharjan. Later, idol worshiping started from 4 pm. According to Sanatan Dharma belief, the goddess returned to her husband's home in Kailasa in Swargaloka through Bisarjan. Next year in autumn he will come again to this Dharani which is his father's house. All security measures are taken by law and order forces to release the idol. The idols are buried one by one in the Buriganga river in a sad farewell without the music of the dhaka or the music. At the same time there was an exodus in the Turag river. Durga Puja was held in 32 thousand 168 mandaps across the country this year. The number of pujas in Dhaka city is 241. The administration as well as each puja celebration committee has taken security measures to ensure smooth celebration of autumn festival in these mandaps. As per government directives, CCTV cameras are installed in each mandap and a committee of volunteers is formed to guard the mandap.
