International Desk : US President Joe Biden will announce several guidelines so that women in the United States are not denied the right to abortion. On June 24 this year, the Mirkon Supreme Court decision stripped women of their constitutional recognition of abortion. As a result, the provincial law will determine whether a woman can have an abortion in the country, and if so, how many weeks she can do it.

Democratic leaders, including President Biden, were against this decision of the Republican justices in the Supreme Court. Biden also signed an executive order in July to this effect. However, after the Supreme Court's decision, 12 American states have declared abortion completely or almost prohibited. At least 3 crore women are covered under it. Of these, 2.2 crore women are unable to have an abortion after six weeks.

Exactly 100 days after the Supreme Court's decision, President Biden called a meeting with the top officials of his administration to discuss the matter. Vice President Kamala Harris will also be present in the meeting.

According to White House sources, President Biden formed a special task force to review how to restore abortion rights to women. The president hastily decided to hold the meeting after receiving a letter from the head of the task force, Jane Kline.

At this meeting, Biden will release some guidelines on what steps his administration will take to restore abortion rights. Biden is also supposed to announce a donation of 6 million dollars for various projects related to this. Specifically, colleges and universities will be directed to ensure that students, women workers, teachers who require abortions, do not face leave or any other discrimination.

A recent poll showed that abortion rights as an electoral issue among young voters rose from 46 percent (in March) to 71 percent after the Supreme Court ruling. Mid-term elections in November. Biden's party expects a large number of people there to vote for Democrats against the Republican justices' rulings.
