News Desk: Acting on a tip-off, a raid team of the Anti-Terrorism Unit (ATU) rescued a missing student from a house on RK Mission Road under Mymensingh Kotyali police station on Monday (October 3) at approximately 8:30 pm. On Tuesday afternoon, Superintendent of Police (Media and Awareness Wing) of Anti-Terrorism Unit Mohammad Aslam Khan said that the name of the missing student is Md. Shafayat Al Hossain (22). He is a student of Mymensingh Notre Dame College. At the time, he said, in 2018, this student named Md. Shafayat Al Hossain was admitted to Mymensingh Notre Dame College in the 11th class. He used to spend 16 to 18 hours a day working on programming while studying in class 11. That's why gap is created in his HSC main exam. He lags far behind his friends in studies. At one point he was under stress related to education. He also had a falling out with his father as he did not perform as well as he had expected in the final examination of class 11. At one stage, he decided to leave home on 25th June 2019 and went into hiding for more than 3 years, roaming around in different parts of the country and finally went to Chittagong and started working in various computer shops. Later ATU traced his location with the help of information and communication technology and called him to return home with the help of his close relatives and friends. At one stage he agreed to return home and was able to bring him home on 03 October. Mohammad Aslam Khan also said that previously, Shafayat's father filed a general diary in Kotyali Model Police Station as a plaintiff for his son's disappearance, with GD No. 1839, when the incident was published in the media at that time, the plaintiff demanded a ransom to help rescue his son from different parts of the country. Following this, Md Afzal Hossain, the father of the victim Shafayat Al Hossain (19), filed a case of abduction at the Mymensingh Kotyali police station, thinking that his son had been kidnapped. whose case no-13, section-364 D.B. Later, with no leads in the case for a long time, the case was handed over to the Anti-Terrorism Unit for investigation on the plea of ​​the plaintiff. The Superintendent of Police said that the case is currently under investigation by the Anti-Terrorism Unit. The rescued victim Md. Shafayat Al Hossain is said to be in the process of taking legal action by sending it to the learned court after the interview.
