Due to the disaster in the eastern electricity grid, the high court's proceedings did not stop even though various parts of the country, including the capital Dhaka, were left without electricity. Lawyer Syed Mamun Mahbub, who was present in this court, said that the two judges have conducted the trial for a long time after admitting a lot of hardship in the state of no electricity. Thanks to them for that. The disaster occurred in the national power grid around 2 o'clock on Tuesday. Electricity is supplied to Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet and Mymensingh divisions under the eastern grid of electricity. On Tuesday afternoon, it was reported from the Ministry's own verified Facebook page that there was an unexpected power outage due to a problem in the eastern part of the national grid (Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet, Comilla, Mymensingh) from 2:04 PM. Power Grid Company of Bangladesh (PGCB) engineers are making intensive efforts to speed up the national grid. Electricity services are expected to be restored as soon as possible. All power sector organizations including PGCB are making concerted efforts to deal with the situation. All concerned are humbly requested to be patient in this unexpected situation. PGCB informed that power supply will be normal by evening.
