SP Sudeep distributed clothes to Durjoy Club on Mahasashthi in Bogra

Bogura Correspondent: On the occasion of Sharadiya Durga Puja in Bogura on Saturday morning, cloths were distributed among hundreds of needy people on Mahasashti on the initiative of business leader Parimal Prasad Raj in commemoration of Shiv Shankar's memory at Durjoy Club premises in Chelopara of the city. Bogra District Police Superintendent Sudip Kumar Chakraborty BPM presented this new cloth to everyone during Sharad Utsav as the chief guest under the management of Bangladesh Puja Udjakar Parishad Bogra Municipal Committee. In the speech of the chief guest, he said that no evil force can destroy the communal harmony of the people of this country in the independent Bangladesh that we got from the hands of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu. Since independence, everyone has been living in harmony in this country. Such signs of communal harmony can be seen in many parts of the world. He said that Sharad Utsav is being celebrated properly in Bogra as before and will be until the end. For that purpose, strict security arrangements have been made for the district police in Bogra. Even then, in case of emergency, contact them directly and call the national emergency hotline number 999, the district police chief said. Under the direction of Journalist Sanju Roy, Co-Publicity Secretary of Zilla Puja Udjab Parishad, Bogra Municipality Panel Mayor 1 Parimal Chandra Das, Bogra Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Noore Alam Siddiqui, BFUJ Executive Member AHM Akhtaruzzaman, Bogra Press Club Vice-President spoke as special guests. Abdus Salam Babu and national sportsperson Gopal Tewari. ISKCON Mandir Bogra principal Kharajita Krishna Das, eminent businessman and social worker Sanatan Chandra Das, Bangladesh Puja Udjab Parishad Bogra municipal committee vice-president Shyamal Das and Deepak Roy respectively, general secretary dentist Sujit Talukder, organizing secretary Shekhar were also present in the distribution ceremony. Roy, treasurer Jiban Das, cultural secretary Chandan Kumar, businessman Raju Ahmed and others. The organizers said that every year the club distributes clothes to the needy for 4 days. In continuation of which, Saturday was the 2nd phase of clothing distribution where women's sarees and men's lungis were distributed among 100 people.
