Later the relatives of the farmers went to the spot and rescued 3 injured people and took them to the hospital. Shahjahan's father Abul Manjur said, when my son Shahjahan went to guard the Dhankhet at the foot of the hill, the armed kidnappers abducted 5 people including him and demanded ransom. They tried to kill him without getting money. Meanwhile, Nazir Ahmad and his son Mohammad Hossain, who returned with the ransom on Saturday afternoon, said that they were badly beaten. They are currently being treated. They also said to recover and take legal action. However, today on Saturday, they arrested another person and demanded a ransom of Tk 10 lakh. Teknaf Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Hafizur Rahman said, “I heard the matter from the local chairman. After this, police action has been intensified. But I know that everyone has returned in different ways. However, no written complaint has been filed by the victim's family yet.
