Salah Uddin Ahmed, Dinajpur: National Assembly Whip Iqbalur Rahim MP has said that the bond of communal harmony should be kept strong by being inspired by the spirit of the Great Liberation War. Sheikh Hasina is working with the people of all communities of the country to build Bangladesh, the army of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's dream. He also said that Durga Puja is now a universal festival. Religion is the festival of everyone. At one time why people in the country could not practice their respective religions. All cases were blocked. But after Sheikh Hasina came to power, people of all religions have been celebrating their respective religions through festivals, there is peace, there is security. Regardless of caste, religion and caste, we should unite to build a hunger-poverty-free and prosperous Bangabandhu's army. Sheikh Hasina is moving forward with all communities to build Bangabandhu's dream army Bangladesh. Whip Iqbalur Rahim distributed rice allotment papers (GR-Rice) to 167 Durga Puja mandaps as government grant after discussion with the leaders of Sadar Puja Committee in the auditorium of Sadar Upazila Parishad on Saturday afternoon. He said these things in his speech. Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Mortuza Al Mueed presided over it. Upazila Parishad Chairman Imdad Sarkar, Vice Chairman Rabiul Islam Sehag, District Committee President of Dinajpur Press Club and Puja Udjaj Parishad Swarup Bakshi Bachchu, Press Club General Secretary Subrata Majumdar Dolar, Natya Samiti President Chitta Ghesh, City Awami League City Committee Secretary SM Khalekuzzaman were present. Earlier in the morning, Whip Iqbalur Rahim MP was present as the chief guest in the program organized on the occasion of 24 years of Channel I at Dinajpur Press Club's M Abdur Rahim Auditorium.
